Brownsberg Nature Park day tour
Brownsberg is world-famous as a nature reserve. A beautiful day tour!
Sloth spotting in Paramaribo. Next to the Paramaribo Zoo we head into a patch of jungle to look for sloths: a pleasant walk through the forest near the Cultuurtuin to spot sloths and other wildlife.
Departure times and meeting points can change. If they do, everyone who has booked receives an e-mail straight away.
If you don't have time to spend several days in the jungle, don't worry. This unique tour still gives you a glimpse of this special environment. It's no secret that many of our guests would love to see a sloth, and that's understandable: these adorable creatures are high on many a wish list.
Right next to the Paramaribo Zoo lies a beautiful stretch of forest that is still home to various wild animals. This area falls under the responsibility of the Paramaribo Zoo and cannot be entered without permission. Fortunately, we have been given special permission to search for sloths in this area together with our guests.
But that's not the only special thing about this tour. We strongly believe in nature conservation and sustainable tourism. That is why, for every participant on this tour, we donate one euro to the Green Heritage Fund Suriname. This fund works to preserve Suriname's heritage and protect the country's natural beauty. So not only do you get the chance to see sloths, you also help preserve this beautiful environment for future generations.
In short, this tour offers the perfect balance between adventure and conservation. So come along and discover the wonders of the jungle while making a positive impact on the nature around us.
