Kaieteur Falls is the largest waterfall in the region, on the Potaro River in central Guyana (Suriname's neighbour).
The waterfall is in the Potaro-Siparuni region, in Kaieteur National Park.
It is 251 metres high.

On this tour you leave from Paramaribo and are accompanied all the way to Georgetown.
Overnight stays in Georgetown and a return flight to Kaieteur Falls are included.
All meals are provided, and you get the chance to visit Georgetown.
Transport back to Paramaribo (the end point of the tour) is included.

You must arrange any visas yourself, although you will be given the opportunity to buy them.
If you have a tourist visa for Suriname, you will need a new visa for your return to Suriname.
Sometimes it can be cheaper or more convenient to apply for a multiple-entry visa before you come to Suriname.

The itinerary depends on the weather; it and the times may be adjusted. Parts of the programme are flexible; the programme below is an example. A special menu is available for vegetarians, provided this is explicitly requested in advance.
