Suriname Adventure Tour for young adults (2 days)

Day 1: Jungle adventure and adrenaline

Departure point: 8:30 am – Sidewalk Café ‘t Vat, Paramaribo
We leave Paramaribo early for an unforgettable experience in Suriname's nature.

Activities on day 1:

1. Quad (ATV) or UTV (buggy) riding – optional

Experience the jungle on an exciting 60–90 minute ride through the lush forest, past old bauxite mines and pools. Enjoy a swimming stop at Klein Curaçao, where the water is a beautiful blue. Two people per buggy or 1 person per ATV.

2. Zipline, climbing wall and Tarzan swing

The ultimate adrenaline ride: fly through the jungle and over the water on Suriname's only zipline! Then take on the climbing wall for an extra challenge. And to finish this adventure, swing upside down through the air on the Tarzan swing! Please note: the zipline is suitable up to 90 kg and 1.93 m.

Afternoon:

Lunch: bami or nasi – enjoy a delicious Surinamese lunch, full of flavour and energy for the rest of the day.

3. River tubing and banana boat

Relax in nature as we take the banana boat to a picturesque creek. Here you take a calm tubing tour with small rapids and can unwind while your adrenaline settles.

4. Sunset with a drink

Enjoy a breathtaking sunset from the Parabello tower with a refreshing drink in hand.

Evening activities:

5. Mountain bike ride or evening walk

We explore the area around Parabello by mountain bike, ideal for the sandy savannah trails. If cycling isn't your thing, join an evening walk and search for nocturnal animals with torches.

6. Jungle disco

After the bike ride you can cool off in the water while the surroundings turn into a jungle disco. A unique experience you shouldn't miss!

7. Sleeping in the jungle

You can choose to sleep in one of the accommodations mentioned. Whether you choose a room, tent or hammock, you'll experience nature up close.

Day 2: Culture and water fun

Morning:

1. Coffee and breakfast

Start the day right with a hot cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast.

2. Mini jeep safari (indigenous village + Onoribo)

We go on a mini jeep safari, visiting a local indigenous village and discovering its traditional pottery. This is also the moment to learn more about the culture and history of the region. Then we drive on to the former Onoribo plantation, where you discover more about Suriname's colonial history.

Lunch:

Lunch: saoto or telo – enjoy an authentic Surinamese lunch, full of the flavours and aromas of the region.

Afternoon: water activities and adventure

4. Kayaking or SUP boarding (your choice)

Explore the Para River by kayak or SUP board and enjoy the calm water and beautiful nature around you.

5. Water activities (after lunch):

• Tarzan swing into the water – take a dive and feel the thrill of the Tarzan swing as you fling yourself into the water!
• Megablob – get launched from the megablob and feel the adrenaline of this spectacular water activity!
• Russian swing – watch our guides' spectacular demonstration or join in this crazy activity yourself.
• 7-metre mega trampoline – jump high on the giant trampoline on the water!

6. New: inflatable water park

Measuring 45 by 45 metres, this water park is the ultimate adventure for anyone who loves fun in the water!
