We are Suriname Jenny Tours, a travel organisation with a fresh take on tourism and 15 years’ experience in the tourist market. With us, the tourist is the starting point: we guarantee expertise, we guarantee departures, and we guarantee successful round trips!
Who are we?
Jennever John
A Forest Creole, a Kwinti from Witagron. She worked at STINASU (Suriname Nature Conservation Foundation) and knows tourism well. Jennever has strong ties with her family in Suriname's interior and loves showing people around her own village of Witagron, as well as the rest of Suriname. Thanks to her background she knows a great deal about nature, and she is well known throughout the interior. Witagron is the river port for Raleigh Falls, and since Jennever keeps her own boat and outboard motor there, this tour is her speciality.
Jan van Swaaij
A Dutchman with a BSW degree from ’s-Hertogenbosch, who has been active in the social sector in Suriname for 9 years. He has run many large projects in Suriname, including the twinning project of the Delicate Drops foundation. Jan provides social support and the non-profit activities within the company pro bono.
Our office is at Waterkant 5c, in the Broki building.
We specialise in Suriname's interior, the plantations, the sea turtles and round trips through the whole country.
