At Nieuw Amsterdam we visit the open-air museum and you get a full explanation of the role and function of Nieuw Amsterdam throughout history.
Then it is time for lunch, which we enjoy at the former Johanna en Margaretha plantation.
A freshly prepared local meal (Javanese or Hindustani cuisine) will do you good.
